Sal is the most touristic island in the Capeverdian archipelago,with long, white, sandy beaches and a warm and dry climate. There is plenty to do near the sea: sailing, scuba diving, jet skiing and you might spot tropical fish, dolphins and turtles.

Sal has seen an enormous boom in development in recent years, with many condominium and resort developments appearing along the shoreline. High season sees more than 10,000 tourists per week flocking to Sal. Other than the touristic St. Maria in the south, and the non touristic towns of Espargos and Palmeira, the island of Sal is fairly deserted.

About the boat

Cuba Libre is a 40' Beneteau Oceanis 40cc, an ideal yacht for people looking for space and comfort.

It offers a spacious, elevated saloon, large galley and 2 cabins.

We offer sailing around Sal including fishing, snorkeling and surfing.

Where to find us after you have booked:

Cuba Libre is anchored in front of the jetty where our staff will be waiting for you with big smiles and wearing blue polo shirts. We will transfer you to the boat and the adventure will start! Please note you will need to pre-book, not turn up hoping to go sailing as we will have made preparations and refreshments for those that have pre-booked the trip.

The all inclusive formula includes soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and snacks and all the activities on board with equipment.
