British National - Information produced by the British Embassy about Cape Verde?

British Nationals in Cape Verde | Information produced by the British Embassy about Cape Verde?

British Nationals in Cape Verde

There isn't a British Embassy or British Consulate in Cape Verde. There is an Honorary Consul on Sal Island who can be contacted in case of serious danger, death, imprisonment and other similar problems. However, British Nationals should seek other information from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office before travelling to Cape Verde.

Yes there was a British Embassy Booklet produced, the last one was updated in 2012, so it is now 'out of date'.

However, there may still be some relevant information within the booklet, but please note there are many things that will have changed since this booklet was produced, at the Embassy in Dakar, with contact details, guidelines, procedures, information and in Cape Verde!

BRITISH AMBASSADOR TO CAPE VERDE- Mr.John Marshall

The British Ambassador to Cape Verde Mr.John Marshall took up his position as British Ambassador to Cape Verde in May 2011.

In December 2011 he made his first official visit to some of the islands of Cape Verde and on Wednesday 7th December he held a meeting with British Expats living on Sal Island, Cape Verde.

He along with the Embassy team, the British Honorary Consul and his Assistant, have updated the booklet - Notes for British Nationals.
