Embassy's, Consuls & Honorary Consuls - Cape Verde
August 09 - A new list of Embassy's (Embaixadas), Consuls and Consulates have been included within the British Embassy Notes for British Nationals in Cape Verde ad those contemplating moving here. THe link can be found within the home page of this website.
There is not a British Embassy in Cape Verde. The British Embassy to Cape Verde is in Dakar, Senegal. There is a British Honorary Consul, Mr. Antonio Canuto who is based on Sao Vicente. To contact him you should go through his Assistant, Isabel Spencer. Isabel works with Mr.Canuto and can reach him if he is out of the office/country if necessary. Isabel can also assist with queries.

The British Honorary Consul can't issue passports for British Citizens however he can provide necessary forms and advice if you wish to have your passport renewed at the Embassy in Dakar.
